Remote access, planned and kept in order

Connextrix LLC is a service practice in Denver, Colorado. We assess, design, set up, document and monitor remote access arrangements that live entirely inside our clients' own environments. No artifacts change hands: the deliverable is a working, documented and reviewable arrangement, plus the records that prove what was agreed.

Where an engagement begins

Most requests arrive as a sentence rather than a specification: a distributed team needs to reach a small set of internal services; a contractor arrives next month; an audit finding asks who could reach which system, and how anyone would know. We begin by writing that sentence down properly. Intake covers the people, the sites, the systems, the working hours and the evidence the client must later produce. The output is a short brief the client signs before any configuration work starts.

01

Assess

We walk the existing arrangement: who connects, from where, through which steps, under whose authority, and what record survives afterwards.

02

Design

We write the arrangement down as rules a person can follow and an auditor can trace, with naming, ownership and review dates attached.

03

Set up

We configure inside the client's environment, in agreed windows, with a rollback note prepared before the first change.

04

Operate

We monitor the arrangements we designed, watch the review dates, and hand over cleanly when a relationship ends.

A service practice, not a product concern

Connextrix does not publish, distribute or maintain any product for visitors to acquire. Everything we do is performed at the client's direction, on the client's infrastructure, under the client's own accounts and approvals. Where a client already owns suitable capability, our work is to organise it — to introduce naming conventions, approval steps, time-boxed permissions, session records and periodic review. Where a client lacks a suitable arrangement, our work is to draft the design, agree it in writing, and carry it out.

What clients usually ask for

How we work

Engagements run in short cycles. We produce a written brief, agree it, carry out the work in scheduled windows, then leave behind a record: a design note, a change log, a register with review dates, and a closing report that says what was done, what was tested and what remains open. Clients keep every file in their own document store. We keep only the correspondence a professional relationship requires.

Where we are useful

Our clients are mid-sized organisations with several locations and a small internal team: regional operators, professional practices, light manufacturing, logistics, education and public-interest bodies. They share one trait — remote access matters to them every day, but no one has time to give it a written shape. That is the gap we fill.

Start with a conversation

Send a note describing the arrangement you have and the arrangement you want. We will reply with a short, honest view of the work involved, priced from the rate card, and a written scope before anything is configured.
