Privacy policy

Connextrix LLC respects the privacy of everyone who writes to us. This policy explains what we hold, why, for how long, and what you may ask us to do about it. It applies to this website and to correspondence with our practice.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us, plus the technical minimum required to serve this website.

What we do not collect

We do not use advertising pixels, behavioural tracking, social sign-in or third-party analytics. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not ask for and do not wish to receive sensitive categories of personal information through this website.

Why we hold it, and on what basis

Enquiry details are held to answer your enquiry, which we do on the basis of your request and our legitimate interest in corresponding with prospective clients. Client records are held to perform the written engagement between us. Technical basics are held for the legitimate interest of keeping the site available and secure. Where consent is the only available basis, we will ask for it explicitly and you may withdraw it at any time.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within twelve months. Correspondence relating to an engagement is retained for the life of the relationship and for six years afterwards, reflecting ordinary commercial record-keeping. Client-held engagement records follow your own retention rules, because they are yours. Technical server information is kept for a short operational period and then discarded.

Who sees it

Access is limited to the members of the practice who need it to answer you. We use no advertising networks and no data brokers. Where a service provider assists us with ordinary business operations, they act on our written instructions under confidentiality, and the categories of information involved are limited to correspondence and contact details.

Your rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and under the General Data Protection Regulation where it applies, you may ask us to confirm what we hold, to give you a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to port it to another provider. You may also withdraw consent where consent was the basis for processing. We do not discriminate against anyone who exercises these rights.

How to make a request

Write to [email protected], or telephone +1 (303) 555-0147. We will acknowledge within ten business days and aim to complete a request within forty-five days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting, using information we already hold wherever possible. There is no charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or repetitive.

Children and international transfers

This site is directed at organisations, not children, and we do not knowingly hold information about anyone under sixteen. Our practice is based in Colorado, in the United States. Where a request reaches us from elsewhere, we handle it under the applicable local rules as well as our own commitments.

Complaints and changes

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, write to [email protected] and we will investigate. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority. We will post any change to this policy on this page with a revised date, and material changes will be described in the practice's quarterly correspondence with clients.
